Sherwin-Williams and Nydree: Colorful Collaborations in Flooring

by Jason Brubaker

Recently, color experts from Sherwin-Williams Industrial Woods team interviewed Nydree’s father and son duo, Barry and Jason Brubaker, to talk about durability and long-lasting style in today’s flooring solutions.

“If an architect or designer wants to specify wood flooring in a commercial space, they need quality materials with aesthetic appeal,” says Barry Brubaker. “Acrylic is an exceptionally hard resin, which makes it ideal for durability and performance. And when we topcoat it with a high-performance finish from Sherwin-Williams, it’s the best of both worlds.”

Nydree flooring uses Sherwin-Williams MarGuard™ and TaberMax™ abrasion-resistant products to guarantee the life of its engineered wood products. This kind of long-term protection makes Nydree an ideal choice for high-traffic commercial spaces and busy homes alike.

Recently, Nydree collaborated with the team at Sherwin-Williams Global Color & Design Center (GCDC) in Greensboro, North Carolina to develop a flooring finish and color palette, catered specifically to Nydree customers. “In addition to longevity, the Brubakers know that customers seek flooring materials that align with current style and color trends,” reports Sherwin-Williams.

By using the highest quality color standards and working with reliable partners, Nydree flooring offers architects and designers a full menu of products — and a dynamic color palette — to meet the demands of any project.
